With 28 years of study, practice, and teaching Yoga, Sita’s main training comes from the Yoga Center of California where she studied philosophies and techniques from all the main yoga systems. As a Yoga Therapist, Sita is trained in Hatha yoga traditions of Iyengar, Viniyoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative, Svaroopa, Sivananda, Ananda yoga and Energy Medicine Yoga. Additionally, she draws from training in Marma Therapy, the vital pressure point system of Ayurveda, Pranic Healing, and Divine Light Healing to provide energy healing for clients.
Her teaching style is all inclusive. Her teaching stems from the belief that everyone can participate in the life changing practices of yoga.
Always a student, Sita continues exploring the sciences of sound, mysticism and metaphysics, Ayurveda, and energy healing under the guidance of Dr. Marc Halpern, Nischala Joy Devi, Dimitri Moraitis and Barbara Martin. Her gratitude extends to all those teachers, mentors, students, and friends who have taught her along the way. It’s really their gifts that she shares with you. Sita believes, as they do, that Yoga works. All you have to do is practice and watch your life unfold.
