MIND BODY TECHNIQUES FOR LIVING WELL

How many times have you been told you should meditate or pracitce yoga?  How often have you thought to yourself, 'I'd like to try yoga but I don't know where to start', or 'Yoga's not for me.'   If you like to breathe and you like to move and you like to feel good, then somewhere, somehow, there must be a yoga activity that would suit you.  Its just a matter of discovering it.    


In today’s world, many people are feeling rushed, overwhelmed and stressed out. Simultaneously, they are constantly hearing about all the things they ‘should’ do to take care of themselves, including meditation and yoga.  However, many people do not know where to begin with these practices or how to do them safely and meaningfully. 


This workshop introduces participants to the tools that each of us inherently possess to cope with daily life, manage stress, and promote well-being.  


Classes incorporate teaching, reflection, and guided mind-body practices.  Every aspect of the course is intended to provide participants with the information and direct experience needed in order to learn how to lower stress and bring about greater ease and well-being in every day life.


Additionally, for those who are seeking to begin EMDR Therapy, this class provides the information and skill practice needed prior to beginning EMDR therapy.  This includes  preparation steps of Calm Place, state change, and emotional reguation tools.

  • Awareness of Mind
  • Understanding Your Nervous System
  • Integration

COST: $150 for the course.  

When course runs for 6 weeks, there is a $30 drop in class fee for individual topics
