Positively Yoga

This new studio space offers specialized yoga services, by licensed and/or certified instructors.

Positively Yoga is a unique yoga experience.  The studio founder, Gretchen Mallios, was frequently challenged when looking for safe and nurturing yoga classes where she could confidently send her therapy clients for gentle, embodied, and empowering guided yoga.  Eventually, she decided she would build this space herself.

Positively Yoga classes are unique in that they are trauma informed, designed with the nervous system in mind, and they emphasize the MindBody benefits of yoga over strength and fitness.

The mission of Positively Yoga is to offer those who have lived with trauma, depression, anxiety, chronic stress, or physical pain a place where they can practice safely.  But it is also right for anyone who wants a compassionate and gentle yoga experience.  We hope you’ll come and explore the deepest traditions of yoga with us.

Schedule

Monday: **Teen Yoga (Hannah) 6-6:50

Class begins on Monday, May 14 and runs for four weeks.

Wednesdays: Lunch Time Yoga  (Gretchen) 12:15-1:10

Thursdays:  Moon Yin Yoga (Tracy) 5:30-6:30

** Yoga for Anxiety (Tracy) 7-8:30

** Requires Registration
